Before I became a therapist, I was on the other side of this conversation.

Hi, I'm Roksana

I know what it feels like when anxiety begins to take over your life and you no longer feel like yourself. My own experience with anxiety, perfectionism and stress is what eventually led me to hypnotherapy, first as someone looking for help, and later as a therapist.

Today, I help people struggling with anxiety, overthinking and constant pressure find something I once needed myself: freedom, inner calm and the ability to feel at home within themselves.

Why I became a hypnotherapist

For most of my life, anxiety, perfectionism and stress were simply things I lived with. I kept going, pushed through and never really considered how much they were affecting me, until eventually, I couldn’t anymore.

What followed was one of the most difficult periods of my life. Anxiety became overwhelming. I experienced panic attacks and health anxiety, and found myself searching everywhere for something that could help me feel like myself again.

Eventually, that search led me to hypnotherapy. Experiencing the difference it made in my own life changed more than the way I felt. It changed the direction of my life.

I remember thinking: if this can help someone who felt the way I did, why aren’t more people being told about it?

That question stayed with me. I began studying hypnotherapy and Hypno-CBT®, and the more I learned about how our thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact, and what can keep us stuck in patterns that no longer serve us, the more certain I became that this was the work I wanted to do.

Because I know what it is like to desperately want your own mind to feel peaceful again. And now, I have the opportunity to help other people find their own way towards that freedom and inner calm.

What matters to me in therapy

For me, therapy should feel like a collaboration. You should feel heard, understood and comfortable enough to be yourself, without judgement or pressure to fit into a particular way of working.

I also believe you deserve to understand what we’re doing and why. I’ll explain the techniques we use, we’ll agree on what you want to work towards, and your sessions will be shaped around you rather than a rigid formula.

Most importantly, my goal isn’t for you to spend your life in therapy. It’s to help you develop the understanding, skills and confidence to move forward without needing me beside you.

My approach

I use Hypno-CBT®, an evidence-based approach that combines hypnotherapy with cognitive behavioural techniques, mindfulness and other psychological strategies. But I don’t believe therapy should feel like following a manual.

We’ll look at what’s happening for you, what may be keeping the problem going and what you want to change. From there, I’ll draw on different techniques to create an approach that fits you, rather than expecting you to fit the therapy.

Training & qualifications

My training is grounded in evidence-based hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural approaches, with a strong emphasis on understanding not only the techniques we use, but why and when we use them.

I trained with the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, completing the Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Hypno-CBT®). My training included hypnotherapy, CBT, mindfulness, behavioural and cognitive techniques, stress and anxiety management, and the practical and ethical skills required for therapeutic practice.
